Broken Hill toy run set roll

THE annual Ulysses Broken Hill Toy Run will be riding through town this Saturday, with motorcyclists meeting at the Gloria Jean carpark from 10am and finishing at Queen Elizabeth Park for a free sausage sizzle at the end of the ride.

All registered motorcycles are invited to join the precession that’s set to travel down Wolfram, Oxide, Williams, and Gypsum streets and then down to Eyre, Bonanza and Patton streets in South Broken Hill.

Riders are asked to bring a toy or cash donation.

After the trip riders and residents are invited to gather at Queen Elizabeth Park for a free sausage sizzle, Christmas music from the BIU band and a train ride and merry go round.

Santa will also be in attendance.

Members of the public who would like to donate to the toy run can leave gifts at Mianis at the McCulloch Street Shopping Centre, Pepe’s Milk Bar on Patton Street, or 7 Day Spares on Oxide Street.

For enquiries or toy pick up phone Wayne on 0418 911 461.

All gifts and money donations go to Lifeline for distribution for kids in Broken Hill and surrounds.
